District Roller Skating Night 28/6/2012

The Nillumbik/Whittlesea District Joey and Cub Scout roller skating night is being run on Thursday 28th June at Skaterz, which is located at Susan St., Eltham.

Starts at 7:00PM with a 9:00PM finish.

Cost will be $10 with own skates otherwise $12 to hire skates.  Long socks please no ankle socks.

[NOTICE] EDAC 2011 – for 10 year old Cubs

EDAC or “Eltham District Activity Camp” takes place on the weekend of 14-16 October 2011. Although listed as a Scout camp there is a standing invitation for all 10 year old Cubs to attend with their Scout Troop;

Hi Everyone,
In 2010, EDAC had to be cancelled due to some rather serious storms rolling across the bay……
Now EDAC is back, bigger and better than ever!

It will be held over the weekend of 14-16 October 2011 at Bay Park, Mt Martha.
This has been running for over thirty years and is a very popular camp with Scouts.

I have attached two forms ( a camp flyer and PIR ) which will need to be returned next Monday 19th September as I need to report back to EDAC organising committee by 23rd Sept with indicative numbers.
The cost is $60.00 which covers $30 for activities, camp fees and badges and $30 for food / fuel / gas etc

1st Eltham Scout Group Presentation and Awards Evening

Dear Scouting Families,
Our Joeys, Cubs ,Scouts, Venturers ,Rovers, Leaders and Committee would like to invite you to our annual presentation night. This is your opportunity to find out what the entire group has been doing during the past year.

Evening Programme:
7.30pm:​ Presentation of annual reports for Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers , Rovers and Leader In charge.
8.15pm:​ Parent Committee presentation of annual reports.
(Please note while parent committee presents Joeys, Cubs, and Scouts will do other activities)

There will be a call for nominations for the fund-raising committee to assist with fund-raising for the Jamboree 2013-2013. If you would like to get involved and assist with this committee please come down and show your support. This will result in a cheaper Jamboree for everyone as the cost of getting to Queensland is quite high.
